New things! a) It's Valentine's Day today! (haha, not new, but exciting. :D) Today I'm going to a friend's house and doing girly, "single lady" things. I do, however, have a boyfriend. He lives in Vancouver  though, and I'm here in good ol' borrring Winnipeg. Which leads me to my next point, b) I'm going to Vancouver in a week! Hurrah! I'm pretty excited, because not only am I seeing my boyfriend after almost two months, but I've never been there! So there will be many good photo opportunities, I think. Which is ANOTHER good segway, because... c) I got a new camera! Small, good things that make me happy. To share with all. <3 Marie

okay, so I have a really good friend who's mum paints rocks and sells them at craftsales. I am now hooked. I'm starting to paint rocks. So far I only have a few, but that's because I don't have a lot of paintbrushes, and not a lot of rocks. I can't paint anything extravagent on them right now until I get better brushes. But does anyone have any simple designs that they can suggest to me? That would be awesome. marie

...with envy. I'm so jealous, my mum just bought a new camera that takes AMAZING pictures. I tried using it today, and I almost died of happiness. I might just use hers instead of mine from now on! :) Marie
